Uber recently released a series of very well-made ads, for their new feature ‘Uber Trains’ that has facilitated train bookings via the Uber app.
The ‘Trains- now on Uber’ campaign leans into the unique behaviours synonymous with using the Uber app, like the awkward wave to the driver or the way you confirm you’re getting into the right car.
Here’s what makes it a hit-
1. It's a great series of ads.
2. The business model is great and solves a real challenge
3. The way they have evolved the product from a listing to a booking to a sale is a brilliant use of strategy and marketing.
This campaign not only ingeniously introduces a new feature, but also captures the essence of its brand through relatable, distinctive user behaviours & building a stronger connection in customer minds.
What do you think? What are some other marketing campaigns for which you’ve seen this seamless blend of creativity and functionality?
