How to use AI in marketing?
A classic example by Sleepy Owl Coffee 👇
Lessons:
Do the simple stuff well. Before you learn frameworks, agents, or chatbots, keep it simple.
Replace AI in your existing workflow to make it faster and just as good. This is a brilliant example. For startups, this not only saves costs but also allows them to iterate quickly.
KEY POINT: What I would have changed — A few things can definitely be added, but if I were to do exactly the same, I wouldn't have used GPT directly.
I would use tools designed for different functions because, in that scenario, you don't have to spend a lot of time learning prompt engineering or iterating to get your prompt exactly right. These tools are built for specific use cases.
If you already know prompt engineering, great.
But otherwise, prompt engineering is likely to become obsolete because GPT and similar models will get better at understanding natural language.
Even if not, it’s a waste of time if you’re not an expert (time is money for a startup). Also, using tools allows you to explore different models.
In many cases, another large language model (LLM) may be better for a specific task.
What’s your take?
But kudos to SleepyOwl for showing how it’s done as an end result and then creating content around it to further engage people.
